Classes of membership shall be Regular, Student, Honorary Lifetime, Emeritus, and Non-Working.
Regular members shall be individuals actively engaged in or interested in library or other information service in the health care field or related disciplines. They shall pay regular annual dues as determined by majority vote of the members of the Chapter.
Student members must be currently enrolled in a Library, Information Science, or Informatics degree program. They shall pay reduced annual dues as determined by majority vote of the members of the Chapter.
Honorary Lifetime Members are retired members of the Chapter who are so designated by vote of the Executive Board in recognition of their outstanding contributions to the Chapter and the profession. They are exempt from payment of annual dues.
Emeritus members are Individual members who have retired from active professional work. Their annual dues shall be at the same rate as Student members.
Non-working members are Individual or Institutional members who are involuntarily unemployed. Their annual dues shall be at the same rate as Student members.
